Has anyone used  GnuCash

Seems to have been around awhile ...  2nd version, 2nd release, and 9th update.

It looks like it really is a linux product, not really for windows. We have Ubuntu linux on one of our laptops but never ever used any accounting package on it but than if you want to run accounting software on linux you have to look into these sort of products I suppose...

Yes,  it was developed on the Linux platform. 

It has been around long enough for them to give it a Windows installer.

I'm going to put it on a spare desktop and see how easy (or not) it is to learn.
It's FREE and it's Double Entry based,   so might be a recommendation for clients (?)
