hi there, how would you show directors wages on sage?

If you're asking which nominal code to use in the payroll journal, normally Sage has nominal codes 7001 or 7002 for director's remuneration.

yes i meant nominal code. I was just a bit surprised cause I asked someone and they advised me to put it on directors loan account 2301 which I didnt really understand cause its not a loan its salaries. I think ill go with the 7001 that makes more sense to me.

Hi Stella,

No, would definitely not post to DLA.  If the director is on the payroll then his salary should be recorded like any other employee, but separate it out to a different nominal than gross wages.
