Best bookkeeping software for Wine Bar

Help , just got a new client a small wine bar/bistro can anyone recommend software for a  small cash based business . They havenot done any bookkeeping since they opened in Oct - so ideally one that allows the quick input of lots of transactions .

That sounds like an excel to sage job to me. I'd make them do (or do yourself - whatever your paid to do) daily takings sheets. Then summarise for the week and post the weekly totals to sage. I would do a weekly cash reconciliation as it is a cash business so all cash can be accounted for.
