I've just signed up a client who used to drive a taxi but is now running a burger van.
I've never dealt with mobile catering accounts before and wondered which VAT Scheme to use, Standard/ Retail Scheme/ Flat Rate or what? He won't be using a till which analyses sales so I suppose Standard and normal Retail Schemes are out? He will be selling both hot and cold snacks from the van.
Any suggestions from someone who has dealt with this type of business will be very welcome. Many thanks and Happy New Year to all.
