Landlord Energy Savings Allowance

Hi all

Does anyone have any experience of claiming Landlords Energy Savings Allowance ?

I have a client purchased a boiler for a rental property, I understand I can claim a maximum of £1500 as LESA but I wondered if I claimed this if I can still claim the cost against CGT when the property sold or even the balance as the boiler cost £6000 so if not it would be more worthwhile to save the claim agaisnst CGT

Any thoughts ?

Hi All

Just asking this question again to see if anybody familiar with it.

I understand I can claim the Landlord Savings Allowance for a client who has bought a boiler but only a maximum of £1500.  I wondered if I claimed this if I could then not claim the boiler (or any part of it) against capital gains tax when the property sold.

I would appreciate any help
