How to set up sage 50 for CASH ACCOUNTING

Hi, I have been trawling around the internet for some simple instructions to set up cash accounting on Sage 50 professional.....I can't find it anywhere, only for other sage versions but nothing that leads me to the right place.

This is a new company I have set up on Sage, I haven't put anything in yet I wanted to set up cash accounting first.

 

If any could tell where there is a button I can click for cash accounting I would be very grateful.

It should be pretty much the same in Sage 50 Professional as any other of Sage's desktop packages:

"Settings" menu -> "Company preferences" -> "VAT" tab -> change the "VAT Scheme" via the pop-up menu to "VAT Cash Accounting (UK)" then click "OK" at the bottom.
