How do I allocate these in a journal? Obviously they are, in effect, wages so how do I put them in the journal - is it just DR Gross 243 CR Net Pay 243 or would you set up a ledger to use instead of Net Pay - if so what?

Hi Have a question, probably a rubbish question but here goes.... Would it worth a courier driver voluntary registering for VAT, In order to claim back the VAT proportion on fuel costs- but can they do this if they are doing the mileage allowance (45p etc etc) against tax?? Thanks Stuart
