Does anyone know where I can get Sage compatible stationery in smaller volumes?
collateit.co.uk do some of the stuff at reasonable prices (500 invoices for 11.45 exc vat for instance, but your oder has to be over £40 otherwise postage is dear) - but there are some things I wouldn't mind buying in smaller volumes. Credit notes and remittance advices for instance. I suppose I could do what many others do with remittance advices and just print them on plain paper.
I likely will place an order with collateit.co.uk for invoices, statements and payslips - just wouldn't mind not having to buy 500 credit notes @ £19.95 (plus another £4 for vat as I'm not tregistered).

A suggestion, when you get the invoices you will see the layout. You could then use this in Word to copy and line it up to match and print your own. If there are things you don't know how to do in Word, just ask and I can help you. Word is one program I know well as I use it a lot for laying out training materials, it is really powerful once you know what it can do.
I design and print all my stationary, the only time I would get anything printed is if I wanted a colour at the edge of the page, everything else can be done on a printer. If your printer is good enough to do photos, as most inkjets and laser are, then it will print everything you want. It is just takes longer to set up. If you put a lot of colour on the page then it may be cheaper to get it printed. Buying a 90 or 100gms quality paper makes a big difference.

Most of my clients have now changed over to emailing statements and invoice's to save on printing. Easy to adjust a basic design in edit layout - however if you feel you would like one designed I have several templates ready to slightly "tweek" at £ 40 plus VAT.

Sylvia - I think it would be too much faffing about to use Word. It is really only the credit notes I'm after as I think at £13.74 inc VAT (under 3p each) it's great value for money for the invoices and statements. I just don't really think I'll need 500 credit notes.
Donna - out of curiosity do you have any samples of these tweaked invoices? Does the output printed onto plain paper have all the boxes currently on the pre-printed sage invoice blanks?

Hi Sylvia, I can email to you some sample invoice/credit notes in pdf format - no problem. The invoice and credit use the same template so no need for 2 set ups. They will show exactly how they will look when emailed to customer or printed. Inclusive in the cost is the change of font and colours. please email me and I will send over samples
