Sage login problems

Hope someone can help:

My computer froze during a Sage session and I had to reboot. Sage now will not let me log in as manager as it says this is already in use and I need to close the exisitng screens (which are obviously no longer visible).

Can anyone tell me how I can close this screen when I cannot log in ?

Thanks!

Hi Lindsay

You can delete the file called queue.dta within the ACCDATA folder of the company you are trying to log into. This will clear the problem.

If you need any help locating the folder please email me and I could help remotely

Thanks

Jeremy

I've just had the same problem with Sage 50, but unfortunately I don't seem to have an ACCDATA folder or queue.dta
Can you suggest where this may be lurking?

Thanks

Richard

Hi Richard. To locate the ACCDATA folder, from within Sage go to help, about, then click on system information. On the left hand side of the dialog box you will see a directory called Directories. Click on that and in the box on the right you will see the full file path of the DATA directory where the ACCDATA folder is located. Depending on your Windows settings the program files or programdata folder may be hidden as it is a Windows system folder. It is easy to change the settings if needed. Hope that helps Jeremy Optegra Financial
